Several tubes from the same artist. I'm using Keith Garvey, please see MPT to purchase these tubes.
Paint shop pro
Animation Shop
1. Open your tubes and minimize them all for now.
2. Open a new image with a white background 600 x 600.
3. Select black as your foreground color and nil your background.
4. Get your eclipse tool ready and make sure it's on circle. Line width should be 8.
5. You will want to draw a fairly large circle. But make sure you don't make it to large since there will be other circles and this will be animated.
6. Objects, align and center. Convert to a raster layer after you convert.
7. Now make 3 or 4 smaller circles on the line of the bigger one. Look at mine for example.
8. Close off your background and main circle layer and merge visible.
9. Get your majic wand out and click in the circles. Go to your main circle layer and hit the delete button. You are wanting your circles to all be one circle (if that makes sense) Use mine for an example if you get confused.
10. Close out your background layer and merge visible.
11. Your smaller circles should still be selected. Start taking the tubes and pasting them onto your canvas. Place them as you would wish, invert your selection and hit delete on the tube layers. Repeat this till all of your smaller circles have a "face" or something else in them. It's up to you.
12. Your background should still be hidden so add a drop shadow to your frame layer and bring it to the top. Merge visible.
13. Take your remaining tube and paste it onto your canvas. It is ok if it's covering your circle a little. Add a drop shadow.
14. Now would be a good time to add your text and copyrights. Be creative and have fun with this. Remember to add a drop shadow to your text.
15. Close your background and your circle layer and merge visible.
16. Unhide your circle layer and dupicate it once. Image, free rotate, to the right at 45 degrees. Make sure nothing is checked as well.
17. You should have 2 layers of circles now.
18. Now this can get confusing so i'm going to lay it out pretty easy here.
Duplicate your tube layer 1 times for a total of 2.
Duplicate your background 1 times for a total of 2.
Close off 1 of each of your layers. ex., 1 tubes, 1 circles, 1 backgrounds. Should be the original ones still open. Merge visible. Hide the merged layer.
Open the next layers of each set. So you will have 1 of each and merge visible.
Now if you did this right you should have 2 layers.
19. Save this as a pspimage and open it in animation shop.
20. Check your animation, this will be moving quite fast but you will know you did the layers right.
21. Hit ctrl-a on the original graphic and right click on the blue bar. Frame properties and I changed mine to 100. The higher the number the slower it goes. I want this to be slow. Use your judgement.
21. Resize this by going to animation and resize. I resized mine to about 400 x 400.
22. Optimize this and save.
Feel free to email me your results.
